Intuit News Central: What’s your role at Intuit?
Mindy King: I’m a social & mobile marketing manager in the Accounting Professionals Division, focusing on our professional tax products: Lacerte® and ProSeries®. I’ve been at Intuit almost 8 months.
Intuit: What do you do when you’re not working?
Mindy: I love spending time with my husband and my boys! My oldest son is almost 4 and my youngest is quickly approaching 2.
Intuit: Do you have any hobbies?
Mindy: I love blogging, although I don’t get to spend as much time doing it as I’d like. I also enjoy working out – Zumba is my newest thing. I also enjoy reading, although there hasn’t been much time for that since the boys were born. Really, the only time that I have to read for fun is while I brush my teeth! I have an electric toothbrush that goes for two minutes, so I read during that time. I have read an entire novel this way, in two-minute increments, once a night. No kidding.
Intuit: What would you do if you won the lottery?
Mindy: I’d take the opportunity to travel the world and learn new languages, and to enjoy all the local cuisine along the way - it’s something that I’ve always, always wanted to do. I’d then I’d blog about it!
