In an effort to showcase the talent and experience of Intuit® staffers, we are posting a series of profiles. Meet Adrian Parker.

Intuit News Central: Tell us about your role at Intuit.

Adrian Parker: I started with Intuit in 2012 as group manager of Social, Mobile and Emerging Media. Previously, I’ve led social, digital strategy and brand development for RadioShack, Liz Claiborne and Foot Locker, and also ran my own communications firm for four years.

Intuit: Why did you want to join Intuit?

Adrian: I’ve admired the story of Scott Cook and Intuit since starting my own business in 2007. I believe small businesses should be allowed to dream bigger than their wallets and have access to the resources they need.

Intuit: What excites you about your job?

Adrian: I’m most excited about leveraging the power of technology and influence to change the way accountants grow their business. I’m blessed to have a great team here at the Accounting Professionals Division and an amazingly patient wife at home.

Intuit: What are you currently working on?

Adrian: Building an enterprise-level social practice at Intuit Accountants Professional Division.

Intuit: What do you do when you’re not working?

Adrian: I like to cycle, blog, read business books and daydream.  I can’t swim, shuffle cards or remember left from right.

Intuit: What are you known for?

Adrian: Being positive, creative and rendering one heck of a PowerPoint presentation.

Intuit: What are you currently addicted to?

Adrian: Instagram, Peter Drucker, my wife and Teen Wolf on MTV – but not in that order

Intuit: Anything else you’d like to share?

Adrian: I’m absolutely horrible at QuickBooks® and likely caused my CPA weeks of corrections.

Intuit: How can clients get in touch with you?

Adrian: Follow me on TwitterLinkedIn or my blog.
